About BVA

The Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council's Business Volunteers for the Arts ® strengthens the management of emerging and small nonprofit arts and cultural organizations by placing business professionals as volunteer management consultants with arts managers and their boards on projects in financial and strategic planning, marketing, information technology and more.

From start to finish, the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council supports both its volunteers and clients to ensure successful projects that have definable goals and an achievable timeframe. We take the time to understand the client’s request and the consultant’s strengths—from the very beginning—so that you can feel confident and excited about the work you'll do together.
